Sometimes I feel that it's so hard to be the oldest sibling in the family.

Especially when you got a sister who is 8 years younger than you.
You got to take care of her, and also care about her studies when your mom is too busy to look after her.

My sister is 12 year old this year, and her prelims are due in 2 weeks time.
I am terribly concerned about it,
worried that she might not get into the good class of the express stream.
And when I look at her, she is so relaxed. Still can watch tv, do nothing at home.

I complained to my mother. Instead, my mother helped her, as usual.

Saying that my sister do her work already, bla bla. And she deserve to watch tv.
I'm not saying that she cannot watch tv, but being too relaxed is not good right?

I understand that normally youngsters will not listen to family's advices.
They'll listen to their peers instead. Just like me during the time when I was younger. I didnt listen to my mom too.
I played all day long and never study at all.

In the end I went to the NT stream and went to ITE.

That's why I dont want my youngest sister to end up like me.
But what to do? She thinks that I'm being naggy,
and the worst thing is my mother isnt helping me at all.

If you are saying dont bother about my sister, let her be and she'll regret in the future. I will tell you, I cant do that at all.
I cannot just let go of my sister and dont bother about her.

Sigh.

Being the oldest is really difficult....
