Bf and I went to Marina Barrage for kite flying on a fine day.

It was our first time flying a kite... So we're pretty much eggcited about it, haha!
Before that, we bought a cheapo kite from Giant.

Upon reaching there, it looks like it's going to rain lor -.-
But luckily we play for about 1hour plus then it rained for awhile.

Met a very talkative uncle there also, he sold us a kite for 10 bucks!

The kite is pretty and colourful, we love it alot, hehe.
It's a shape of a stingray tooooo! We love stingray! Yum yum.
And it's definately more 'fly-able' than our cheapo Giant kite.
So nvm lar, 10 bucks only :D
Kite flying looked really fun and easy, but it's not!
You need to run and keep pulling it, if not it will come down again.
And you have to let go when there's wind.
But overall quite fun :D

We had picnic there too! Bought along hotdog sandwiches that we made ourselves.
So hungry after all that running!

After awhile we took some pictures then head to 313 for some shopping and dinner.
Bf bought some shirts from Uniqlo and I bought nothing... Except for my sister's birthday gift.
Hahaha, I'm jobless already, cannot anyhow spend right?! ;)

Anyway, we really did enjoy ourselves at this kite flying trip.
Marina Barrage is a really nice place to go, especially on weekdays as weekends are always packed with people.
I think I love going out on weekdays now, hehe.
