♥ We could swim in the deep blue sea ♥
02 September 2010
Being a not-so-skinny person, I was very afraid of swimming in the public, because of wearing swimsuits. Not confident enough to wear one.

What if people laugh at me?

I always wanted to go to the Jurong East swimming complex to play and relax for a day. But this thought of mine always never fail to bring me down and always stopped me from going to public pools.

After much encouragement from bf, I finally decided I have to do it! No matter what others will say.
Bought a Tankini, which is like a halter top made from swimming costumes material. I like it alot, because it can cover my fat tummy. Hahaha, good to have one if you don't feel confident of showing your tum tums.

Okay so today we went to Jurong East swimming complex.
Rented a float and bf swam beside me while I was happily relaxing on the float, enjoying the warmth of the sun, feeling the cool gentle breeze on my face.
I really love it. It has been like years since I stepped into a pool!
Hahaha, sounds really pathetic but it's true.

Stayed there for around like 6-7 hours (power huh?) and got sunburnt really badly! OMG. I got such a shock when I looked into the mirror. It's like I got burnt by a fire -_- I really hate it. Hate the red skin.
My thighs are real painful too! Due to sitting on the float.

Sigh, I had fun today but I am NEVER going to swim on an afternoon again. Next time, I shall ONLY swim at night.
Oh and, luckily nobody laughed/talked/pointed at me today, confidence up up up now. :)

And special thanks to bf for all his encouragements and also for being my float. Because I don't know how to swim. Hahaha... Thanks, love. ♥ ♥ ♥
